Primary Medical Care Unit, Chinabay of Trincomalee region has been declared open today (26.04.2022) by Mrs. J.J. Muraleetharan Secretary Ministry of Health EP with the participation of Dr. A.R.M. Thowfeek Provincial Director of Health Services EP, Dr. D.G.M. Costa Regional Director of Health Services Trincomalee, Dr. K. Mohanakumar Deputy Provincial Director of Health Services EP, Dr. V. Premananth Deputy Regional Director of Health Services Trincomalee Region, Dr. V. Kugaendiran Medical Officer Planning and other officers.

2 Bio-Medical Engineers and 25 Nursing Officers have been appointed by the Hon. Anuradha Yahampath Governor of the Eastern Province to serve at the Provincial Health Institutions.
