පරිවාස ළමාරක්ෂක දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවට අයත් අම්පාර දිස්ත්‍රික් නව නේවාසිකාගාරය නැගෙනහිර පළාත්  ගරු ආණ්ඩුකාර අනුරාධා යහම්පත් මහත්මියගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් පසුගියදා අම්පාර කරංගාව ප්‍රදේශයේදී විවෘත කෙරිණි.

The Governor of Eastern Province, Honorable Anuradha Yahampath, on 13.10.2022, on the invitation of the Provincial Director of Social Services Department of Eastern Province, Mr. A.G Theivaendran, visited along with The Governor's Secretary Mr. L.B. Madanayake & Private Secretary and Governor's office Senior Officers, the Swami Vipulananthar Elder Home Batticaloa, and congratulated the elders and gave gifts to remark on Elders Day.

A Special Meeting was chaired by Mr. R.M.P.S.Rathnayake , the New Chief Secretary of the Eastern Provincial Council, on 10.10.2022 at the Conference Hall of the Chief Secretary’s Secretariat , Trincomalee to review the the current status of the important matters including development and administration pertaining to the Ministries and Departments of EPC including cluster agencies under Chief Secretary Secretariat, Governor’s Secretariat, Provincial Council Secretariat and Provincial Public Service Commission.

Mr. R. M. P. S. Rathnayake , former Additional Secretary - Ministry of Defense has assumed duties as the new Chief Secretary of the Eastern Provincial Council at the premises of the Chief Secretary’s Office in Trincomalee on Monday , 03-10-2022 in the presence of Secretaries and Heads of the Departments of Eastern Provincial Council.
