Ministry of Women, Child Affairs and Social Empowerment has arranged a consultative workshop collaboration with Eastern Provincial council and with the technical and financial support of UNDP and UNFPA on 2022.12.20 at JKAB Beach Resort with the participation of secretaries, Heads of Departments, other senior officers of Eastern Provincial Council and In charge of women and child units of police and Mithuru Piyasa hospital units.

The workshop has organized aiming to share the findings, achievements and recommendation of previous National Action Plan implemented during 2016 - 2020 and to obtain more grounded and evidenced based inputs, information and strategic interventions from Provincial agencies and relevant stakeholder to formulate the new National Action Plan for the period of 2023 - 2027.
