A handloom techniques training programme has conducted for the Textile instructor, TOT & weavers in Trincomalee from 2023.09.12 to 2023.09.15 (4days) at the Department of Rural Industries, District office Trincomalee -EP. The purpose of this programme to increase the knowledge and Production.

Textile competition for 2023 was held on 14.09.2023 at the department of Rural Industries. The products from local entrepreneurs and department products also displayed. The competition was conducted by the Department of Textile, Colombo.

A Mobile sale of Handloom products was arranged on 22rd of June 2023 at Harbour of Trincomalee with arrival passenger’s ship.
