A Tree Planting Programme was held on 20.04.2023 at Department of Social Services, Eastern Province. under the National Tree Planting Programme by Ministry of Agriculture, Eastern Province. This function was organized by Mr. A.G. Theivendran, Provincial Director, Department of Social Services, Eastern Province. At this occasion many office staff were attended.

Trincomalee District officer’s monthly review meeting was held on 2023.01.20 at the Social Care Center - Poompuhar, Trincomalee. It was presided by Mr. A. G. Theivendran, Provincial Director, Department of Social Services, Mr. A. M. M. Aliyar, Senior Social Services Officer, Mr.M.S.Habeebullah, District  Social Services Officer, Trincomalee District from 11 divisions and divisional level Social Services officers and Development officers have attended in the meeting
